Eda - Eda is my much-missed cleaning lady. She was very old-fashioned. Once when my kitchen was particularly dirty I apologised and explained that my husband had been cooking a fry-up. She looked horrified, and I was worried she was going to leave me. She said, "Oh madam, I understand, but you must never allow the husband in the kitchen."
