bumblebee.org pages contain cookies. If you do not want to receive cookies and/or want to know more about cookies click here
The types of cookie used are
- Google analytics cookies.
Every time a user visits our website, Google analytics generates an anonymous analytics cookie.
These cookies can tell us whether or not you have visited the site before.
Your browser will tell us if you have these cookies, and if you don't, Google will generate new ones.
This allows us to track how many individual unique users we have, and how often they visit the site. Which pages are the most popular for length of visit and number of visits. This information allows us to expand popular pages and include more detail.
- Geotargetting cookies. Another anonymous cookie from Google. It tells us what part of the world you live in. Because the site is used all over the world and by so many non English speakers we try to keep the English clear and simple. We never realised the volume of non English speakers using the site till we looked at this data.
- Third party advertising cookies. These are nearly all Google. It is the income we get when you click on these ads. that pays for the web space, domain name, etc., without which I'd be greatly out of pocket. The advertising revenue covers costs not wages - the site is a labour of love.
